Important COVID-19 update for our customers

As the New Zealand government has just confirmed that the country’s lockdown will be gradually lifted from Tuesday 28 April 2020 (with some restrictions remaining in place), we wanted to give you a heads up on what this means for you, outside New Zealand, and what we are doing to make sure you are looked after.

Hustler production and shipments of machines and parts will restart at full capacity - although stocks remain limited due to the restrictions we encountered these previous weeks, and international shipping delays are expected.

Our field consultants and parts teams are not allowed to customer’s face-to-face visits but remain available by phone, email, Whatsapp and videoconferencing (Zoom meeting). Feel free to get in touch with your local consultant visiting our support page here.

While our dealerships around the world aren’t quite open as normal, most of them have contactless options available for servicing and machine delivery, with the ability to pick-up and drop-off.

The safety and wellbeing of everyone is our top priority. We are following the New Zealand Government and Ministry of Health’s guidelines and have put the following measures in place to keep everyone safe:

• Contact tracing: We digitally collect details from all staff and external visitor (transport firms, couriers…) and store that information in a centralised contact register.

• Stricter hygiene measures: All machine touch points will be thoroughly and regularly cleaned; we'll also be keeping cleaning logs of all manufactured machines.

• Staff safety: Our factory teams will work in team bubbles, record who is working together, limit interaction between groups of workers, disinfect surfaces, maintain high hygiene standards, so that in the case of illness or need to isolate, other staff can continue

• Distribute policies: Clearly documented and distributed guidelines for our staff to adhere to.
