At the transport logistic trade fair, TII KAMAG showcased the KAMAG PrecisionTractor. The completely newly developed terminal tractor offers a comprehensive safety concept, high manoeuvrability and reliability as well as an ergonomic workplace. Numerous decision-makers from well-known transport and logistics fleets were very impressed by the qualities of the vehicle along with the associated services.

The transport logistic trade show filled the transport and logistics industry with a great deal of enthusiasm. More than 75,000 visitors from over 120 countries visited the Munich fair during the four days of the event. Strong tailwind also for TII KAMAG. The industry expert for yard logistics and internal transport from the Heilbronn-based TII Group presented the KAMAG PrecisionTractor (PT) and related services and attracted many decision-makers from transport and logistics fleets with the recently completely redeveloped terminal tractor.

“The vehicle fleet experts praised the high level of practicality of the KAMAG PT which is the perfect means for safely and efficiently moving all semi-trailers and container chassis around a logistics yard. The hydrostatic drive, which allows precise, jerk-free manoeuvring, and the equally easy and safe climb into the driver´s cab without any tripping hazards were particularly well received,” summed up Jürgen Haupt, Head of Sales – Logistics at TII KAMAG. The knowledgeable crowds of visitors were also impressed by the spacious cabin which was designed according to modern ergonomic principles. In this state-of-the-art workplace, the driver benefits in particular from generously-sized glazed surfaces that facilitate an excellent direct view in front of and behind the vehicle.

The new KAMAG Connect telematics system offers a high level of user value thus making fleet and service management much easier for all customers as well as optimising the KAMAG PT operating costs. Digital services such as remote diagnostics, Smart Service, intelligent maintenance management and monitoring of the vehicle condition contribute to this. KAMAG Connect is now available for all PrecisionTractor models and the swap body transporters of the PrecisionMover series whereby the hardware will be installed as standard in these vehicles from the end of this year. Depending on specific customer needs, various user contracts allow an attractive cost-benefit ratio and, in connection with the international service network of TII KAMAG, a rapid supply of spare parts thus ensuring high vehicle availability.
