India: Potato day in Punjab

On December 10 and 11, 2014 the first potato field demonstration "Potato India" took place in Sarabha, Punjab (ca. 350 km northwest of New Delhi). During the demonstration visitors got information about the potato cultivation and saw demonstration of modern agricultural machinery.

500 visitors from the agricultural sector and politics used the occasion to discuss the various options of the potato farming. Our employees Annop Singh, Abishek Singh and Patrick Grote presented the Grimme planting and harvesting technology at the demonstration.
