Professional spreading technology for the professional cultivation of vegetables
The new fertiliser ordinance challenges professional operations regarding the adequate fertilisation of vegetable and intensive crops.
Whether it is used for the cultivation of vegetables, vine, fruits or special crops, in nursery gardens and gardening and landscaping, the new RAUCH LINUS box fertiliser spreader meets all the requirements of demanding managers.
In addition to an excellent metering and spreading precision, LINUS provides a high strength level thanks to a maximum fertiliser working load of 1,500 kg. Fertiliser spreading is precise up to the bed borders. In contrast to disc spreaders, no material is spreadon the harvesting tracks. This means that a large amount of fertiliser is saved. Three models with spreading widths of 150 cm (Linus 15.1), 175 cm (LINUS 17.1) and 190 cm (LINUS 19.1) cover the most common track widths in vegetable cultivation.
The almost vertical container walls and the generously dimensioned agitator shaft with flexible, wear-resistant agitator blades continuously feeds the spreading material to the metering openings. LINUS meters and spreads any common spreading materials whether in pulverised, granulated or pelletised form. Even wet composts can be spread. The speed of the hydraulic agitator drive can be adjusted to the flow behaviour of the spreading material.
The comfortable, electronic QUANTRON-A fertiliser metering system automatically controls the metering slides according to the forward speed.
During operation, the driver can remotely adjust the application rate. All operating data is logged and can be transferred to a PC via the optional data manager Field.
If the corresponding attachments are used, the tank capacity is 1,200 litres for LINUS 15.1, 1,300 litres for LINUS 17.1 and 1,400 litres for LINUS 19.1. The comfortable, self-retracting hopper cover protects the valuable spreading material. In row cultures, the optional row spreading units are used.
The state-of-the-art LINUS design with LED lighting and the compact container dimensions ensure a good all-round vision whether attached to the front or to the back.
The stainless steel hopper base which can be folded away without tools allows for the quick discharge of residues and easy cleaning. The elaborate powder coating as well as the high degree of stainless steel components protect the LINUS against corrosion and wear for many years of operation under tough conditions.
