With the MOBICAT MC 120 Z PRO, at this year's Intermat Kleemann presents its new mobile jaw crushing plant for demanding quarry operation. It is suitable for coarse crushing and thus supplements the mobile cone crushing plant MOBICONE MCO 11 PRO perfectly. Both plants impress with their robustness and high output.
With an hourly output of up to 650 tons, the MOBICAT MC 120 Z PRO is impressive in natural stone applications. The powerful jaw crusher with a feed opening of 1,200 x 800 mm is equipped with an extra long articulated crusher jaw. To guarantee the best possible material flow, the Continuous Feed System (CFS) adapts the conveying speed to the filling level of the crusher. If the plant is coupled to the MCO 11 PRO, the CFS is active in both plants which optimises utilisation of both crushers. In the case of material blockages, the crushing chamber of most jaw crushing plants had to be emptied by the operator. This tedious task can be taken over by the optional crusher unblocking system. If congestion occurs in the jaw crusher, the crusher can be reversed with the help of the electric crusher drive and the blockage is thus loosened in the shortest of times.
The MC 120 Z PRO is equipped with an independent double-deck prescreen. Thanks to the extra long screening surface of 3.5 m², screening is particularly thorough, the final product quality is increased and crusher wear is reduced. The medium grain can also be routed via the crusher bypass past the jaw crusher. The plant is controlled on a 12" touch panel using the intuitive control concept SPECTIVE. This permits the crushing gap, for example, to be adapted to a new application with only a few commands. The operator is guided step by step through the menu. Operating errors are thus avoided and productivity is increased. The MC 120 Z PRO is also moved and the feeding unit is controlled by radio remote control. Maintenance and refuelling is also simple because all machine components can be reached from the ground or via large work platforms.
The crushing plants in the PRO series are equipped with a cost-effective but powerful diesel-electric drive, which drives the crusher and conveyors electrically. An optional external power supply is also available for even more economic operation. The power generator can also provide power for downstream plants, such as a screening plant or stockpile conveyor. In spite of its robust design, the MC 120 Z PRO is relatively easy to transport. To reduce the transport weight, the prescreen, vibrating chute and crusher can be disassembled. The crushing plant can be moved quickly into operating position because the hopper walls of the feeding unit can be folded hydraulically and are self-locking. The MC 120 Z PRO can also be customised thanks to the numerous additional option, such as a rock chisel.
