Japanese Delegates visit the UK: A busy end to the week

This week a group of Japanese delegates visited the UK with David Hollier to learn more about UK Potato Production.

Staff from Grimme UK were proud to be involved, as the team were taken to visit customers and growers to see first hand how we cope with our varying soil conditions.

Pictured are the delegates looking at a Grimme GT170S Trailed Harvester lifting a crop of Maris Peer, destined for Marks and Spencer with John Addams-Williams from GreenSeed International as he shows how its done.

The team, from Calbee Potato Inc & Hokko Shoun Co. Ltd also visited new Grimme SV260 and GT170 / GZ1700 machines to get a full understanding of the processes we use here in the UK.

Despite the area recieving over 75mm of rain over the last 5 days, all machines visited were running well in some challenging conditions.
