Greater flexibility
For its municipal machine fleet, Kärcher has for the first time developed a front loader for implement carriers up to 3.5 t. This attachment, which is unique in this class, is an ideal alternative for greater flexibility within the vehicle fleets of municipal operators and service providers in particular, for whom keeping a wheel loader is uneconomical.
As municipalities preferably use smaller wheel loaders for lifting and moving loads, the vehicles are not always used effectively. The front loader is ideal for this purpose as it can be mounted on existing Kärcher implement carriers (for example the MIC 50). Standard supports and quick-change system, which uses the vehicle's hydraulic system, makes installation much easier. The carrier vehicle can be converted within minutes with different accessories such as the classic shovel, snow thrower or roller brushes.
With a maximum lifting force of up to 900 kg, large quantities of loose material such as stones, sand, earth or bark mulch can be picked up and moved quickly and easily. Control is precise and simple via a joystick in the vehicle. Since the maximum lifting height is slightly above 2 m with a shovel tilt angle of up to 50°, the attachment can also be used to fill smaller dumpers or spreaders in winter service. The compact shovel can also be used in confined working conditions.
The front loader is available ex works or for retrofitting on middle class implement carriers from Kärcher. The company already offers a front loader for heavy implement carriers with a permissible total weight of up to 5 t.
