Kerstin Ney appointed to business area management board

Kerstin Ney (51) is to become a member of the Components Technology business area management board, where she will be in charge of Human Resources. With around 29,000 employees, ThyssenKrupp Components Technology produces high-tech components for the automotive and engineering sectors around the world. In fiscal 2013/2014 the business area generated sales of 6.2 billion euros. After completing a degree in business administration, Kerstin Ney began her career in the Group as a trainee in 1991. She then joined the HR department of the former Thyssen AG, where she was responsible among other things for personnel marketing and personnel development. From 1999 Kerstin Ney was head of the management development department of ThyssenKrupp AG. In 2005 she moved to ThyssenKrupp Elevator Technology, where she is currently CHRO of the Central, Eastern and Northern Europe business unit (CENE).
