Kögel Tipper trailer – now with 27 cubic meter capacity

In addition to the 24 cubic meter (cum) tipper trailer, Kögel is now offering a 27 cum capacity version in their construction programme portfolio. The new version, alongside its little brother, has a wide range of innovative properties for day-to-day practical use: For example, a five-stage tipping cylinder with an angle of 48 degrees helps to provide quicker unloading. Of course, the 27cum tipper trailer is also available in various different wall thickness combinations. Thanks to the modular concept, simple, quick and cost-effective replacement of the tipper body components is possible at any time. There is no need to fit expensive wear plates.

Versatile in operation due to modular concept

Changing from transport cargo, such as sand or gravel, to coarse bulk cargo or spoil is very easily realised thanks to the combination facility. The intelligent joint technology with a trough made of heat-treated Hardox-450 steel and the 1,670 millimetre high side walls, made of high-tensile S700 steel makes the tipper extremely durable and long-lasting.

Top-quality corrosion protection of chassis and tipper body by cathodic dip-paint coating with Nano ceramic

All Kögel tipper semi-trailers have cathodic dip-paint coating for chassis and tipper body, are surface-treated with Nano Ceramic Technology and subsequently painted. This modern high-quality corrosion protection ensures durability, is more environmentally compatible and offers a better energy balance than conventional surface coatings.

Other highlights

The standard folding underride guard guarantees simple changing from the road setting to deployment as a road-builder. The tipping bearings are of low maintenance and repair-friendly design. The bearing bush, made of a special material mixture, ensures that the tipper can be in use almost always, as its maintenance intervals are extremely long.
