Munich, January 2013 –Komatsu CARE is a service and advanced product support solution that comes standard with all Komatsu construction EU Stage IIIB machines. Komatsu CARE can lower the cost of ownership whether it is rented, leased or purchased.

As part of Komatsu CARE, Komatsu offers its customers a Complimentary Maintenance Program and a Complimentary Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter [KDPF] Exchange.

The maintenance program includes complementary factory-scheduled maintenance on EU Stage IIIB Komatsu construction equipment for the first 3 years or 2,000 hours (whichever occurs first), and is available at all official KEISA distributors. Planned maintenance intervals are at 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 service hours.

The Komatsu CARE Complimentary Maintenance Program includes:

• Replacement of Oils and Filters with Genuine Komatsu Parts
• Multi-point Inspection (Walk Around Inspection)
• Komatsu Oil and Wear Analysis Sampling [KOWA]
• Labor and Mileage

A complimentary Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF) exchange is also standard for all Komatsu EU Stage IIIB construction equipment and includes a maximum of 2 complimentary KDPF exchange units for the first 5 years / 9000 hours.

With the introduction of Komatsu CARE, Komatsu offers a comprehensive complimentary maintenance program that can increase the longevity of component life and the price of used vehicle sales. It ensures that proper maintenance is performed with OEM parts by factory certified technicians. The program also increases uptime and efficiency, and provides detailed machine maintenance records that can—in turn— bring higher resale value. Komatsu CARE is transferable to new owners, upon resale.
