Komatsu Establishes the "CSR Procurement Guideline"

We, at Komatsu, consider our Business Partners in the Supply Chain (suppliers of materials, parts and components) as vital partners supporting our production, and it's our policy to establish long-lasting relationships on the basis of mutual trust.
As part of the policy, we have supported our business partners to strengthen their environmental activities and occupational safety in line with the "Green Procurement Guideline", and have been encouraging them to comply with the "Komatsu's Worldwide Code of Business Conduct." Thus we have been supporting our business partners to promote their CSR activities.
By working through the "CSR Procurement Guideline," we are making our business partners even more conscious of CSR and accelerating compliance throughout our supply chain.
