Krister Sandvoss named new project director for CeMAT

On September 1st Krister Sandvoss (36) will take over management of the “CeMAT Worldwide” department. Along with the CeMAT exhibition in Hannover, his responsibilities include the foreign exhibitions of Deutsche Messe in the field of intralogistics, consisting of the following events: CeMAT ASIA, CeMAT RUSSIA, CeMAT INDIA, CeMAT AUSTRALIA, CeMAT SOUTH AMERICA, CeMAT EURASIA, CeMAT SOUTH EAST ASIA and Intralogistica Italia. His predecessor, Bernd Rohde, has been appointed Managing Director of the Deutsche Messe subsidiary in Mexico.

Before coming to Deutsche Messe in 2011, Sandvoss studied business administration and subsequently spent four years in Australia, being active in export market development at ITC Limited and corporate development at Miglas Australia Pty. Ltd. Sandvoss accumulated further experience in various fields, including electronic measuring instruments and event management, and also worked as a senior consultant at a Frankfurt-based business consultancy. Since October 2011 Sandvoss has been active in the international sales department at Deutsche Messe. On July 1st 2013 he took over the Global Fairs department at the Deutsche Messe subsidiary Hannover Fairs International GmbH. Beginning September 1sthe will take over management of the “CeMAT Worldwide” department.
