The 19U-6 2PB MTC is part of eight new KTEG models to be unveiled at Bauma 2025, showcasing the successful Hitachi-Kiesel joint venture.
The KTEG 19U-6 2PB MTC mini excavator will be on display at Bauma 2025 on the Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) stand. Based on the Hitachi ZX19U-6 monoboom model, the KTEG 19U-6 2PB MTC offers enhanced versatility with a two-piece boom. This varies the working height of the excavator, making it more suitable for working in confined spaces, such as under bridges, for example.
Reflecting the KTEG philosophy to focus on added value for customers, this latest model has been developed with several improvements to enhance its durability for challenging working environments. These include a dustproof net to protect from dust on demolition sites, and additional hose protection for the travel device, as well as cylinder guards for all front attachments. Robustness is further improved by an additional steel plate for the boom and arm, and a thicker steel plate to strengthen the undercover.
The presence of the KTEG 19U-6 2PB MTC on the HCME stand highlights a broadening machine portfolio, giving contractors a greater choice of solutions for their projects to meet their specific needs.
“At KTEG GmbH, we have a long-standing commitment to developing customer-centric solutions,” says KTEG Managing Director Harald Thum. “This model stands out from competitors in the 1.7- to 1.9-tonne class thanks to its enhanced durability and exceptional versatility.”
The KTEG 19U-6 2PB MTC is one of eight new mini and compact KTEG models to be unveiled on stand FN.716 during Bauma 2025, which takes place on 7 to 13 April in Munich. This highlights the successful partnership between Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and Kiesel Technology Entwicklung GmbH in their joint venture, announced at Bauma 2022.
