PROLANDER 500 R

KUHN launches a folding mounted range of the PROLANDER

The PROLANDER multi-purpose vibrating tine cultivator is the leading farm machine for creating false seedbeds during the period between crops.

KUHN now offers a folding mounted PROLANDER 100 R range with 4 rows of tines, available in working widths of 4, 5 or 6 metres. This range is perfect for farms that wish to benefit from the advantages of the PROLANDER with small tractors from 100 to 210 hp.

The PROLANDER is known for its quality of work in second stubble cultivation and seedbed preparation. The 70x12mm S-shaped vibrating tooth is the key component of the PROLANDER. It offers good scalping, good mixing and the creation of fine soil for quality false seedbeds.

The special advantage of the PROLANDER 100 R range is its forward centre of gravity, which allows the use of small tractors with a low power requirement of 25 to 35 hp/m. The work output is high thanks to a working speed of 12 km/h ensuring good soil expansion.

KUHN machines are simple and convenient to use. On the folding mounted PROLANDER units, the roller and levelling board are constantly adjusted by a hydraulic system. The 1-bolt straight and duck-foot plough shares ensure 50% time savings when changing parts. In addition, the straight plough share is forged and reversible to extend the service life by more than 20%!

The folding mounted range has all the same advantages of the PROLANDER 1000:

  • Large clearances for easy passage through the residues;

  • Essential equipment: front levelling board for secondary tillage, rear harrow, levelling tines;

  • A wide choice of rollers, including the double tube/bar roller, for uniform tamping.

The PROLANDER is the ideal tool for creating false seedbeds during the period between crops. It provides a surface preparation between 3 and 5 cm to create fine soil and offers an ideal tamping for good soil/seed contact. The PROLANDER combines all the advantages for optimal germination of weed seeds. The mechanical destruction of weeds makes it possible to greatly reduce the seed stock so as not to compete with the next crop and ensure higher yields.

With the PROLANDER 100 R range, all farms can capitalise on false seedbeds to control weeds.
