Does wrapping 100 bales per hour with 6 layers of film seem impossible? Not with the new KUHN RW 1810 bale wrapper. With a 30% faster cycle time you can keep up with the fastest balers around. 

• New look, new features; along with a new look come several new features. Highly visible lights and reflectors have been added for improved safety and security during your wrapping operation. At the same time, the extended loading arm will guarantee a quicker, more gentle loading of the bale. The integration of large mudguards will also prevent film damage during transport. The hydraulic unit of the wrapper is now protected with a large side cover and it also offers excellent accessibility for maintenance of the machine. This wrapper can be towed sideways with wide / larger tractors without difficulty thanks to the long drawbar.

• Optimal combination; combine 3D wrapping with INTELLIWRAP and get well-shaped, tightly sealed bales that maintain their silage quality even after long storage periods. KUHN’s 3D wrap distributes the total film quantity more uniformly and efficiently across the entire surface of the bale by wrapping the cylindrical surface of the bale first. The film will first be applied where it is most needed, the corners of the bale. The film is then wrapped very tightly around the bale where more air is excluded. After finishing the complete 3D wrapping cycle, the conventional wrapping will cover the remaining bale surface with stretch film. Here INTELLIWRAP gives full wrapping flexibility by giving the choice and control in the number of film layers to match your local circumstances, crop conditions, and storage periods.

• You are in control; The KUHN RW 1810 is controlled by the new KUHN VT 30 control box which gives full command of your wrapping process. The VT 30, with 3,5” color and touch screen, has a highly user-friendly interface with intuitive software. Application of new electronics with PROCESS VIEW software provides you with updated information about the stage of wrapping on the terminal. It informs you of the status of the ongoing and upcoming wrapping processes and allows you to pause and restart a process at any time.
