With this new versatile range of Variable chamber round Balers KUHN brings all-round baling to the next level. The KUHN VB 2200 series are designed with the latest product innovations that guarantee perfect bale rotation and high density in all crop conditions.

The VB 2255-2285 represent the standard AT10 balers in our Variable chamber line designed to work in the dry straw, hay and haylage conditions.

The VB 2260-2290 series represent the standard ISOBUS balers designed to meet the demands of today’s professional farmers and contractors.

The VB 2265-2295 & VBP BalePack series represent the high-end profi models designed to work in the heaviest conditions throughout the world.

This new 2200 series of Variable chamber round Balers meets your demands and expectations in terms of:

• Optimal crop intake; all OptiFeed and OptiCut models feature a cam-track pick-up unit designed to match the full capacity of the machine. With an intake width of 230 cm, the machine is capable of working in all swaths and will not let you down, even in the harshest conditions. The new OptiFlow open throat models are equipped with an unrestricted 210 cm wide intake unit. The driven bottom and top roller combination gives maximum thrust to the crop flow for full capacity and a minimum in down time of the machine.

• Crop flow control; all VB balers, except balers with OptiFlow, are equipped with the patented* Integral Rotor Technology. This simple, maintenance free, short distance intake system ensures even feeding regardless of the various (crop) conditions. The short distance between rotor and pick-up yields an outstanding crop flow. This force-fed intake makes higher forward speeds possible for outstanding productivity and reduced crop damage.

• Cutting quality; the KUHN VB balers can be equipped with a OC 14 or OC 23 cutting unit system. Additionally, the hydraulic rotor disengagement and drop floor technology ensure a quick clearance in case of a blockage (exception of VB 2255-2285). Mechanical group selection is available on VB 2265-2295 & BalePack models.

• Bale formation; the redesigned bale chamber on the VB 2200 series is provided with a new heavier top chamber roller with aggressive profile resulting in less pollution to the front of the machine. The VB 2265-2295 balers can run on a higher baling density with up to 10% increase of bale weight in dry crops. In addition, all new belt guide rollers in the bale chamber of the machine carry heavier bearings and improved seal to meet the highest demands.

• Durability; all VB 2265-2295 models have increased overall driveline quality for improved life time of the machine because of the integration of cardan yokes in the drive axles and higher quality drive chains. The Integral Rotors are supplied with double rotor tines, made out of Hardox wear plates, to meet even the most demanding conditions.

• Binding; the net binder with active stretch technology assures a firm bale shape with constant high net tension throughout the entire binding cycle. The net stretch can simply be adjusted via the variable pulley for tighter wrapped, denser bales.

• Fast and reliable bale transfer; the side guide protection plates on the VB 2265/2295 BalePack ensure a rapid and secure bale transfer even when working in steep or sloping fields. The 4 belt wrapping table with 2 large rollers and 4 side cones provide maximum bale traction, even bale rotation and proper film overlap, regardless of the bale shape. The improved “twin loading fork” system offers faster bale transfer of up to 40%.

• Excellent wrapping; greater management and control of the wrapping process can be achieved by our unique IntelliWrap™. Key features of IntelliWrap™ are 3D wrapping, applying odd number of layers (4,5,6,7,8,9…), adjustable film overlap and a user friendly wrapping interface. IntelliWrap™ provides well-shaped, tightly sealed bales and therefore higher quality silage.
