Kverneland CLC pro Classic 4,5m and 5,0m: strong cultivator for light tractors

CLC pro Classic 4,5m with Actiflex roller

The CLC pro Classic has been designed to offer a 3-bar cultivator for smaller tractors. Based on the well-known CLC pro strong frame, the Classic variant is having an easy and compact rear accessories module which enable lighter tractors. The Classic range is extended by 2 new models: the CLC pro fold 4,5m and 5m, based also on the standard CLC pro range.

A compact design
In order to get a light and compact combination with the large range of rollers that the CLC pro line is offering, a set of levelling tines has been fixed to the roller frame under a standard pair of arms. To ensure a perfect levelling in all conditions those passive tines are adjustable in the height and in rotation with an infinite screw.

Think strong, not thick: Kverneland Hollow tine technology

More than 20 years ago, when using a tube as a cultivator tine, Kverneland was first to supply the market with a “light” tine concept. By using the same heat treatment processes as for its ploughs (case hardening, cementation) Kverneland is able to supply a “0 maintenance” tine based cultivator). This auto-reset tine is the lightest on the market with 35kg.

The hollow tine technology advantages are the flexibility and the high vibration capacity (“jack hammer” effect). In addition to the renowned Auto-reset leaf spring from Kverneland, the inherent strength built into the tines enables them to withstand sideways movement of up to 14cm even by going 25 cm high, protecting the tine holder and the frame of high stress picks. For the CLC pro Classic model Kverneland is now offering 2 Auto-reset capacities by having a new one releasing from 450.kg (dedicated to the Classic range) and still the 640.kg range.

NEWS: Knock-on system - The unique share system

The tine can get either the plough points or the Knock-on parts. Knock-on is a patented system and the easiest way of changing parts on a cultivator, either to adapt the machine to the job to be done or to change wearing parts. Kverneland always use the highest quality steels. This enables the Knock-on to use a simple locking system. The Knock-on system fits easily to the tine, requesting only a hammer to knock the parts in and out in seconds.

To change the points on a 3.00m unit with 10 tines it takes 1.30 minutes - while 20 minutes are necessary with bolted reversible shares.

The configuration of the cultivator can easily be changed from deep cultivation up to 25 cm (or 30/35 cm for other models) with 80mm share to shallow stubbling at 3 cm with wing shares. The design of the shares is made to reduce as much as possible the fuel consumption.
Depending of the tine spacing, the requested job, the soil/residues conditions, the working speed, etc… a full range of shares with different deflectors (twisted/ straight) is available to fulfil the farmer needs.

With the large range of rollers available, including the new Actiflex and the Actipack, the CLC pro Classic can coop with all soil conditions and leave a weather proof top layer or a firm seedbed with a surprising low power requirement.
