Kverneland simplifies filling the Optima TFmaxi with a central seed hopper - Extended reach and reduced filling effort

With the objective of extending the reach of the Optima TFmaxi and simplifying its filling, Kverneland Accord has developed a central seed hopper as an option for its proven Optima TFmaxi seed drill.

For the farmer, this system offers two key advantages:
1. The seed capacity and thus the reach of the machine is extended by 1,000 litres. This means that 113% more seed volume is available.
2. The machine can now also be conveniently filled from big bags. Manual filling of the 16 individual row hoppers is no longer necessary.

The new central seed hopper is arranged in front of the fertilizer hopper. The seed grains are first guided through electrically driven rotary feeders and then distributed pneumatically to the 16 seed hoppers as required. This additional central seed hopper reduces downtimes and increases the productivity of the Optima TFmaxi.
