Latest news for Mitas Agriterra tires

Mitas, a member of the Trelleborg Group, has this year put two new Agriterra sizes into production, and is preparing other new products for 2018 in this range. The Agriterra products are radial tires with a high load capacity designed for non-drive wheels on agricultural vehicles.

In 2017 Mitas released the 680/60R30.5 IMP 176D Agriterra 03 and 560/45R22.5 IMP 152D Agriterra 02 tires. “The Agriterra 02 tread pattern is used for the majority of Mitas flotation tires. Thanks to its rounded thread shoulder and extended footprint. These tires are very gentle on grassland, and feature low noise emissions, rolling resistance, and fuel consumption. In addition to this, Agriterra 03 has excellent self-cleaning properties,” says Mitas agricultural tires production manager Pavel Kott. “These heavy-load tires are designed for the heaviest agricultural applications like tankers and grain trucks.”

The 680/60R30.5 IMP 176D Agriterra 03 can carry a load of 7100 kg at a maximum speed of 65 km/h and a nominal inflation pressure of 4 bars, while the 560/45R22.5 IMP 152D Agriterra 02 can carry a load of 3550 kg at 65 km/h and a nominal inflation pressure of 4 bars.

Mitas currently offers 14 sizes of radial flotation tires with Agriterra 02 and 03 tread patterns. For 2018, Mitas is preparing two new sizes with a brand-new tread pattern.

Mitas will be displaying the 680/60R30.5 IMP 176D Agriterra 03 TL MI tire at the Agritechnica 2017 between November 12 – 18 (stand B04, hall 20).
