Learn more about Fabeo in our interview with the company’s CEO Anders Terrs. We discovered the ideas to found the company, the company’s product portfolio, typical customers, markets of interest and much more.
L: When and by whom was your company founded and how did you come up with the idea?
AT: Fabeo AB was founded in Sweden 31st of March 2022 and is a part of the an Swedish Investment company called Bernstorp Invest. Since all the owners have a background from farming, construction equipment and trucks we saw that there is a demand for a company with high knowledge to sell machines from the Nordics to anywhere in the world.
The focus of our business is to sell machines or machinery related items through online auctions and that we only work with companies as our selling/buying customers. This was the start and where we see a growing demand.
The right machine in the place
We focus a great deal on sustainable business and circular economy which means that the machine have done the job at one customer but there is a big need for that kind of machine somewhere else.
It is possible to get parts, reman parts and service for most machines so they can be used for a longer time in average then today, so our business model supports both the environment and the customers wallet.
L: What problem(s) is your tool/product solving? Can you identify the range of your customers?
AT: We offer selling customers a full service where we handle the whole sales process of their equipment. It means that we handle everything from a professional documentation and marketing of the machine in all our channels, both domestic and globally, but also potential negotiations and shipping if that is needed.
We make sure that the machine is visible to a greater audience and we put in personal effort to sell the machine, due to the strong and long-term relationship we have or want to build with our customers. Even if we are digital we want to be personal and that makes a big difference when we handle high value products.
Our selling customers see us a ”one stop shop” where they can focus on their daily business and we can help them with converting machines into money which then can be invested into their business again.
L: What markets/regions do you focus on and where would you like to expand?
AT: When it comes to selling customers we have a clear plan of how to grow in Sweden and Nordics to start with, but we also have a plan to expand further in Europe at some point. The timing of the expansion is depending how the market and business is developing but there are good possibilities to do this on a short notice through joint ventures if that is needed.
Then we have our buying customers who is present around the world. We would like to establish more business partners around the world and that is why we think NordBau is a good place for us to been seen and to be able to connect with international customers.
