Dana Incorporated announced that it will supply Brevini® winches to Link-Belt Cranes for its 100 RT and 120 RT rough-terrain cranes, the TCC-2500 telescopic crawler crane, and the 175 AT all-terrain crane. Link-Belt Cranes will exhibit these models at the upcoming Bauma construction and mining tradeshow in Munich this April.
Dana has served as a Link-Belt Cranes supplier for more than 30 years, providing Spicer® transmissions and Brevini winches from the company’s expansive line of drive and motion technologies for mobile cranes.
“Our customers demand superior load-handling capabilities from our cranes,” said Brian Smoot, product manager for Link-Belt On-Highway Cranes. “Brevini winches from Dana deliver on customer expectations for strong line pull and precise load control.”
Brevini winch drives have a compact, modular design that enables vehicle manufacturers to specify gear ratios and select the optimal transmission size while meeting application needs for line speed, line pull, and braking capability.
“Over the past century, Link-Belt and Dana have shared a commitment to developing innovations that improve the performance of machinery,” said Aziz Aghili, president of Dana Off-Highway Drive and Motion Technologies. “Dana’s line of technologically advanced heavy-duty winches offers a superior blend of performance, size, and safety to help Link-Belt expand the capabilities and global market reach of its mobile cranes.”
