With the green spaces at business and retail parks, schools and airfields to maintain throughout the UK, GP Plantscape has a considerable mowing programme. "We need durable and reliable mowing equipment in order to deliver the high quality service our clients expect from us," explained Sandy Baxter, Project Manager at GP Plantscape Ltd.

Their search for robust, high quality mowers capable of producing a first class finish resulted in the purchase of two MAJOR 2mSynergy mower decks. Delivered in time for the 2014 season, the machines were put to their paces immediately, cutting school grounds in, Durham and at the Museum of Flight at East Fortune Airfield, East Lothian.

With extensive acreage at the Museum of Flight to cut on a fortnightly cycle, the MAJOR Synergy gives a premium cut with a professional striped finish, all while working at speed. "We bought the 2m Synergy mowers to replace the decks on our John Deere 1545 power units," said Mr. Baxter. "The quality of cut is excellent. The Synergy mower cuts the material so finely, that we no longer have to collect the cut grass, saving time and allowing us to get through our mowing schedule more efficiently," he said.
