Aleksandra Jastrzab: Mr. Fink, as a start-up company, what do you think about trade fairs, do you prefer to meet your customers in person or virtually?

Marvin Fink: We're very happy to do both, of course. Because we offer a digital solution, we naturally hold many meetings and appointments online, digitally. It's also always nice when you, as a software provider, can simply stand as a face, as a tangible person at a trade show like this, which is why we also like doing this very much. It's a lot of fun for us to meet the customers or interested parties in person here.

AJ: What would you say are the main benefits of digital planning for a company? 

MF: It has a lot of benefits, of course – no wonder I'm saying that. But it's quite simple, e.g., when it comes to saving time; we've done some scientific analyses, and you can save up to 30% time with digital planning. Of course, you can take the whole thing a bit further - the more digital a company is, the more attractive it is. When it comes to new employees, for example, it's of course nicer to be able to offer your employees a digital solution, digital planning, than to still have to do everything with Excel spreadsheets, pen and paper, or things like that.

AJ: Is your app also available in other languages or only in German? 

MF: Yes, we are now also available in English and are still growing with our customers. We are also very flexible in terms of translating into other languages, so if we notice that we are perhaps now entering the Eastern European market again, which for us as Rostockers is also just around the corner, then we can also quickly and easily establish a translation there. 

AJ: What would you like to achieve at NordBau 2023?

MF: Good discussions and many customers, of course, but also networking. Getting to know other startups, especially on our Start Up Stage, and the first two days have now shown it - the manufacturers also walk through the trade fair, which is of course very interesting for us. We also hope that one or the other customer will come along afterwards.
