Mecalac Excavators range

Wheeled excavators

New 12MTX

The new 12MTX, 2016 version, a 9,7 tonnes machine equipped with a 80kW engine, offers various improvements for even better ergonomics, safety, flexibility, functionality, and reactivity.

A single selector – a unique Mecalac feature – enables the 12MTX to change configuration instantly. With an obviously simple gesture the driver sets the controls to those of an excavator or a loader - with all its functions combined and “ready for use”. Equally easy it can be put into parking or driving mode. At the flick of a wrist a construction site will benefit from increased responsiveness, safety and thus profitability.

Getting in and out of the cab is one major reason for many on-site accidents. In 2016 it is no longer suitable that drivers are climbing onto wheels and slipping. Now there is a new patented solution from Mecalac, which comes as a standard on the New 12MTX. A step is automatically driven out when the operator raises the console to leave the cab.

The New 12MTX from Mecalac, received an “Etoile du Design” from the Minister for the Economy, Design, Industry and Information Technology on 9 December 2014.

714MWe

No matter if the machine is equipped with the multipurpose Mecalac boom with integrated offset, or the 3-piece boom, the 714MWe delivers a brilliant performance on every jobsite. Thanks to its renowned compactness and unmatched mobility the 714MWe shows its strengths in such operations as pipe laying, earth moving or road building and it also finds its place in all types of building construction.

Indeed, its combination of versatility, comfort and ease of operation, and high performance in both digging and loading operation effectively meet the needs of the contactor and its personnel.

The 714MWe includes patented, innovative technologies for its boom drive train and the equipment cylinder coupling, the door action and machine access. The boom lift system consists of two cylinders at the rear of the equipment, positioned asymmetrically. This means that one of the two cylinders is always in a position to make the best possible use of the force generated to lift the equipment. Equipped with the 3-piece boom, further increasing the machines’ compactness, the 714MWe is the ideal solution for users whose priority lies in force and speed of the boom and its great working range. Further assets are the impressive lifting capacity and the unique versatility of the Mecalac machines. The 714MWe is also available in rail-road version, 714MW RR.

Crawlers excavators

6MCR – Skid-excavator high-speed

The 6MCR – 6 tonnes- is equipped with the Mecalac attachment. The well-known kinematics mechanism patented by Mecalac, is the common denominator of all Mecalac excavators and gives them one of Mecalac’s unique and unequalled values: the compact design in width, length and height.

This allows the operator to adapt to all situations, to work closer to the machine, to dig a trench behind a wall or a crash barrier thanks to the offset, to lay sand, to load in the narrowest alleys and lanes and in the most difficult sites.

The attachment is at the centre of the three essential functions of the 6MCR: digging, loading and lifting are functions that are instantly activated by changing tools in just seconds, without leaving the cab, thanks to the ACTIVE LOCK quick coupler. With this hydraulic tool holder, the Mecalac attachment allows the 6MCR unit to excel in each of these tasks, to exceed the user’s expectations, to bring an undeniable advantage in performance, agility, compact design, profitability and quality. Each function at 100%, faster and better.

8MCR - Skid-excavator high-speed

The 8MCR is a tracked machine design, combining the features of a compact, 7,2/7,6 tonnes* excavator with engine and equipment on the upper section, with those of a fast, compact loader with a triangular, tracked chassis. The 8MCR can move at a speed of up to 10km/h.

This new concept is a fine example of how innovative design can combine comfort, productivity, economy and improved working methods with the protection of the environment.

A simple selector switch lets the driver change from use as a compact excavator to a compact loader, and then back again, all using the same commands. The Mecalac “Active Lock” attachment means that a tool can be changed in just a few seconds, without the need to get down from the cab.

A major innovation is in the use of the control lever to switch over to loader mode, thus significantly improving productivity, ease of use and site organisation.

The 10MCR - Skid-excavator high-speed

The 10MCR, 9,4/10 tonnes*, is particularly suitable for work requiring high performance in digging and handling.

With the remarkable advantage of compactness both on the ground and in elevation thanks to the kinematics of Mecalac arm, combined with the performance of higher weight machines, an unequalled operating speed and a real versatility, the 10MCR suits firms highly interested in the intelligent management and profitability of their site.

Like all the machines of Mecalac range characterized by compactness and autonomy on worksites, the 10MCR generates undeniable benefits for the protection of man and nature.

Two operating modes can be selected with a simple switch for each function, thus enabling the user to have standard ISO commands to operate a compact excavator or compact loader. The functions on the control levers mean that adjustment time is zero and ease of use is considerably improved compared to standard products. The well-designed cab is the most spacious available in this machine category and thus the operator is less tired and can remain focused within the working area.

714 MCe

No matter if the machine is equipped with the multipurpose Mecalac boom with integrated offset, or the 3-piece boom, the 714MCe is at the forefront of innovative technology, such as its patented retractable boom cinematics, the unique cylinder coupling function or the intelligent mechanism of the hinged sliding cab door.

With a turning radius of 1600 mm, the 714MCe is able to work on a single carriageway, meeting the demands and constraints of urban sites. Fitted with steel tracks (500, 600 or 750 mm) or rubber tracks, it helps to preserve the ground, thanks in particular to an anchor blade (option) which helps and optimises ground force. The standard quick coupling enables the operator to switch from one accessory to another in a few seconds and thus to adapt machine operation to current requirements. Available as an option, the left right offset option on the equipment makes trenching easier because the bucket can be offset relative to the machine axis by as much as 2300 mm. In loader mode, this offset option enables to operator to level, adjust and create a slope to the right and to the left.

Equipped with the 3-piece boom, further increasing the machines’ compactness, the 714Mce is the ideal solution for users whose priority lies in force and speed of the boom and its extensive working range. Further assets are the impressive lifting capacity and the unique versatility of the Mecalac machines.
