Mercedes‑Benz Trucks and Girteka have entered into an agreement for 500 Actros L ProCabin. The trucks will be delivered incrementally 2026 to support Girteka’s ongoing fleet renewal and expansion of its long‑haul operations across Europe. The agreement contributes to Girteka’s operational growth and the modernization of its truck fleet.
“We continue to invest with discipline and long-term focus in strengthening our fleet and service reliability. The Actros L ProCabin aligns with our operational standards for international long-haul transport and enhances efficiency, safety and driver comfort. These new trucks directly support our mission to deliver temperature-controlled and high-care cargo efficiently and safely with our own fleet. They strengthen our ability to operate with consistency, control and accountability across Europe,” says Pavel Kveten, CEO of Girteka Logistics.
Optimized Cab Architecture and Aerodynamics
The Actros L ProCabin features an enhanced cab design developed for efficient airflow. An 80‑millimetre longer front section, optimized transitions and aerodynamically shaped body panels reduce drag and contribute to economical long‑haul operation.
Advanced Assistance Systems
The trucks are equipped with the latest generation of Active Brake Assist, combining radar and camera data. The system can detect moving, stationary or crossing vehicles and can initiate automatic braking to a standstill within system limits. Active Sideguard Assist 2 can monitor both sides of the vehicle and warns of objects approaching laterally. When turning at speeds up to 20 km/h, the system can apply braking on the passenger side if earlier warnings were not heeded.
Predictive Powertrain Control uses topographic and route data to support anticipatory and efficient driving.
