Easily find the best mixer-feeder for your farm!

Mixed rations have become the global standard for feeding herds of ruminants. For farmers, space limitations are the main issue in getting started using mixed rations, for fear that the machines won’t be able to access or navigate their buildings properly. CLICK & MIX is a simple and intuitive application that will be available in mobile version (App Store and Google Play) and also online.

CLICK & MIX has multiple features:

• Help dairy, breeder and beef cattle farmers enjoy the benefits of mixed rations.

• Help farmers invest in a mixer wagon that meets their needs in terms of volumes and dimensions.

• Help farmers make projections in terms of feeding scenarios: for instance, is it better to put all the ration in a single machine or make two passes?

CLICK & MIX helps determine the machine capacity needed:

• Based on their rations, farmers can enter the quantity of the different ingredients to mix in gross kg (hay, haylage, corn silage, grass silage and concentrates).

• Then they enter the number of animals per batch of mixture.

• Based on this information, CLICK & MIX will determine the capacity in m 3 required to ensure optimum circulation of the fodder in the tub and guarantee an even mix.

CLICK & MIX analyses space issues in buildings:

• Farmers can enter all their building space constraints (main door height, width between the troughs, width of the feeding table and troughs heights). With these data, CLICK & MIX suggests a choice of up to 3 Kuhn trailed mixer wagon models. If the space issues are too severe, CLICK & MIX suggests at least one machine with an extra-low tyre mounting system. CLICK & MIX will be available for download in September 2017 in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish and Chinese.
