MONOSEM will exhibit, on their stand at the Agritechnica show (Hall 11 - Stand C54), a Multicrop cultivator equipped with several technologies improving the cultivating efficacity. In a context of weeding alternative research, the cultivator appears as a good solution.
Hydraulic lift of the cultivating units
Since the conception of the Multicrop cultivating unit, the possibility to add the unit hydraulic lift has been integrated. Then, a management via electro-hydraulic valves of the hydraulic lift has been developed, in collaboration with the ERMAS Company. With this system, it is possible to control the unit lifting from the cab, manually thanks to the control button, or automatically if it is linked to an ISOBUS terminal and a GPS antenna. Thus, cultivating is possible even at the field ends.
Camera guiding system
To improve the cultivators’ guiding, increase the work output and also the working comfort, it is now possible to equip the MONOSEM cultivators with a camera guiding system. This system can be adapted on all MULTICROP cultivators with automatic guided frames, whether they are new or in service. The assembly is realized by the ERMAS Company. The parallelogram and the hydraulic cylinders of this frame allow a 15cm lateral off-set on each side. Therefore, the initial guiding system by track is replaced by a 3D camera. In addition to this, row feelers can be equipped. They replace the camera guiding system when the culture is too developed or when there is too much wind.
With its large parallelogram with self-lubricating bushes and its large diameter front wheel (350 mm), the Multicrop is a heavy duty cultivator unit. It is compatible with several accessories (rotary finger weeder, rear comb, additional pressure spring, disc ridgers, …) placed directly on the units. This design allows to stop the accessories work when lifting the unit.
In a context of plant protection products reduction, the cultivating technical evolutions offered by MONOSEM give to farmers solutions for weed management.
