MONOSEM will exhibit, on their stand at the Agritechnica show (Hall 11 - Stand C54), a planter whose inter-row spacing can be temporarily increased. This solution, existing at MONOSEM for nearly 10 years, has an interest with the increasing use of wide wheels, by facilitating their passage between the rows.
Many years of experience
Instead of cutting off some rows, the system activates hydraulic cylinders that change the inter-row of the 2 rows around the central rows. The sliding of these 2 rows makes possible to go from an inter-row of 75 cm to an inter-row of 112 cm maximum. By not cutting off rows, the advantage of the system is to keep the seed population. The subsequent passages of machines (sprayer, slurry tank, ...) are thus facilitated and avoid driving on the crop. This system is available on 4 and 8 rows MONOSEM planters with mechanical or electrical drive.
Available for several years, the variable inter-row system for wide wheels will be highlighted at Agritechnica; an additional example of the MONOSEM know-how and experience in precision planting.
