Top quality seeding thanks to the standard features of KUHN mechanical seed drills: the HELICA fluted metering system capable of precision seeding with any type of seed, and the SEEDFLEX seeding unit mounted on parallelogram with depth-control and  press wheel as standard.

Ease of use due to user-friendly settings and the new VT30 terminal with its 3.5” colour touchscreen that displays the main functions: hopper level, metering rotation and automatic tramlining management. Being ISOBUS, the new SITERA 3030 can also be controlled with a CCI terminal or compatible tractor terminal and is, of course, compatible with the KUHN smartphone application « seeding assistant ».

Ingenious design to adapt to any tractor. The hopper is positioned further forward to reduce overhang for easier driving and great visibility of the seeding bar at work.

Patented quick-release interface

This seed drill is equipped with a patented quick-release interface for the new HR power harrows and CD disc cultivators.

The new HR 1020, 1030 and 1040 series power harrows have been designed to work with the new SITERA and VENTA seed drills. They come in widths of 3 m, 3.50 m and 4 m and are suited to tractors of up to 300 hp. For high-speed seeding  (up to 15 km/h) on light soils and in plant residues, KUHN also proposes the new CD 1020 series seedbed cultivator in working widths of 3 and 3.5 m. The CD tool has a large number of discs (24 and 28 respectively) that work the seedbed finely and level the soil effectively.

Settings adapted to intra-plot variations

These models can be equipped with continuous hydraulic working-depth adjustment for real-time adaptation to plot conditions. They work deeper in compact soil and shallower in stony areas.
They are also equipped with the all-new leveling bar that can be adjusted manually or hydraulically and continuously from the tractor cab to adapt to the changing conditions in the plot. The leveling bar also comes with tilt adjustment that can alter the level of pressure according to the desired result. It is fixed to the roller frame so its position and adjustment are independent from the power harrow’s working depth.

This combination is compatible with the new large-diameter MEGAPACKER (590mm) roller and the STEELLINER (550mm) furrow-opening roller, the MAXIPACKER roller (535 mm) and the PACKLINER (592 mm).
