New filling auger for Cirrus 03

Available with immediate effect for the Cirrus 6003-2/2C model is a filling auger. This is not only available for the simple seed hopper but also usable for the 4,000 l dual tank. Here, it is of importance to fill both hopper parts safely and quickly with seed or possibly with fertiliser. The auger, in the working position, can be simply swivelled manually between the hopper openings. In order to reduce the fill times, a high conveying capacity is required. With wheat a transfer rate of approx. 415 kg/min can be achieved meaning that the 4,000 l hopper can be filled in approximately seven minutes.

For transport the auger is swivelled hydraulically above the hopper. This means that it is safely stored and, during transport, does not obstruct the view of the driver. In the work position the filling auger swings down to the left hand side of the cultivation discs and is supported by the side frame. In this way a good view for manoeuvring is ensured. Thus filling via a trailer which is equipped with a slide and an outlet tube is simply possible. The drive and the control of the filling auger are carried out via the hydraulic system of the tractor. The auger can be combined with every equipment option on the Cirrus, such as, for example, the GreenDrill 500.
