New Self-Cleaning Collector III Belt for Kongskilde JF Mowers

Kongskilde Industries A/S introduces a brand new belt for the formation of swathes. The unique EasyClean feature makes the belt self-cleaning. This optimizes the formation of swathes and the belt achieves a significantly longer service life. The solution is designed for Kongskilde JF triple set GXT-mowers.

The swathe forming belt offers many advantages, but many users find that the belt has displayed difficulties getting rid of grass and soil residues from the field. The result is that the residues accumulate on the belt rollers and thereby shortens the service life of the belt. The new self-cleaning Collector III belt for the Kongskilde JF triple swath forming mower solves this problem.

The Collector III belt is equipped with the integrated EasyClean collector function. EasyClean continuously cleans the underside of the belt and the rollers for dirt in the form of grass and soil residue. This gives the belt a smoother movement and a much longer service life.

EasyClean is self-cleaning and empties itself automatically every time the Collector III belt is set in the transport position.

At the same time, the Collector III belt is equipped with a new rib structure, which improves the carrying effect for the crop, and thus optimizes the swath formation. The self-cleaning Collector III belt was developed in close co-operation with Europe's leading belt supplier.

From 2016, the GXT 1305 Collector swath forming mower will be equipped with the Collector III system. GXT 1305 is a triple-construction with a working width of 12.3 metres and is the world's largest trailed swath forming mower.
