New Holland will unveil at the show its latest models, which will be making their first public appearance in the UK.
New Holland is taking the lead with the introduction of the E85C, the first mid-sized excavator in the industry featuring Tier 4 final technology. This model raises the bar on the outstanding performance and fuel efficiency that New Holland’s excavators are known for. It meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards with Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) technology combined with a simple Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) after-treatment system.
The new three-pump hydraulic system delivers best-in-class swing speed at 11.5 RPM and outstanding drawbar pull force at 76.8 kN as well as exceptional control and precision. It features The E140C SR short radius crawler excavator, featuring New Holland’s unique integrated Noise and Dust reduction (iNDr) system, which minimises noise, optimises cooling and maximises particulate filtration. The high efficiency intelligent hydraulics that maximise performance according to the task being performed combined with the new ECO mode add up to exceptional fuel savings and productivity.
The top-of-the range L 230 skid steer loader delivers outstanding torque of 340 Nm at a low engine speed of only 1,400 rpm with its 90hp turbocharged engine, making immediately available more pushing power and saving fuel, as well as enhancing operator comfort. The high engine and hydraulic power combined with the machine’s perfect balance mean that it can mount large buckets of up to 0.58 m2 capacity to complete the jobs faster. The exceptional fuel efficiency and large 96,5 litre fuel tank give the L230 great autonomy so that it can easily run for 8 to 10 hours without refuelling. New Holland’s unique vertical lift SuperBoom enables operators to load material right up to the centre of the truck bed, so that the it can be loaded much faster from one side.
The 15-ton WE150B PRO wheeled excavator excels in high precision work with its brand new controls and stands out for being remarkably easy to operate and service. This is a highly economical machine: the efficient engine and the working modes that optimise the use of power and fuel result in low fuel consumption; the large displacement engine and 3-pump hydraulic system are designed to last; the simplified maintenance and longer service intervals mean lower costs and more uptime.
The new W170 Recycler is specially designed for the aggressive and dusty conditions of waste handling and recycling facilities. It comes with a full package of protection guards for hoses, lights, cylinders, transmission shaft, fuel tank, windscreen, axles, front and rear chassis to ensure the operator’s safety, enhance the machine’s durability and protect its residual value. It features New Holland’s unique cooling system design, where radiators are placed forming a box rather than the traditional approach of having them overlapped. This design ensures maximum cooling efficiency and makes it easy to clean the radiators. The Tier 4 interim SCR technology enhances safety on recycling and waste management facilities, which are typically vulnerable to fire ignition risks, because of the lower temperatures of the catalyst and the AdBlue fluid sprayed in the exhaust that kills any sparks.
In addition to the new introductions, New Holland’s product display will also feature the successful E215C, the most fuel efficient 21 ton crawler excavator available in the industry. The E215C achieves this exceptional level of fuel economy with New Holland’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and the high efficiency hydraulic system. On the one hand, the SCR after-treatment system allows the 6-cylinder common rail engine to focus entirely on generating power with no exhaust recirculation or particulate filters required. On the other hand, the hydraulic system’s Hydrotonic technology ensures 100% pump utilization, delivering extra performance, but also exceptional fuel efficiency. Finally, the upgraded Advanced Electronic Processor and the introduction of ECO working mode optimise the fuel consumption according to customer needs, with no compromise on performance. The result is exceptionally low fuel consumption with average values between 9 and 13 litres per hour, depending on the application.
