New single rotor GA: large working widths and MASTERDRIVE drive system as on multi-rotor rakes

Following the introduction of many innovations on double and quadruple-rotor rakes, KUHN is now renewing its range of single rotor units with 5 new mounted and trailed models.

The GA 4431, 4731/4731T and 5031/5031T have been developed to work 4.40 m, 4.65 m and 5.00 m widths respectively.

Their design and equipment makes them simple, practical machines for low-powered tractors. They are ideal for livestock farms looking to increase productivity while benefitting from the highest standards in reliability.

The exclusive MASTERDRIVE technology is appreciated by the most demanding users. It has already proven its worth on most of the 2 and 4-rotor models in the KUHN range. Capable of withstanding the highest stress levels, it is extremely reliable on large working widths and when raking the most difficult forage. With high resistance two-stage reduction and unique tine arm fixation, this rotor is recognised for its outstanding longevity, including when used for intensive jobs.

Changing from field to road can be tedious, that is why new single rotor GAs were designed with ergonomic arm support and central locking. Windrow deflectors and guards can be deployed manually and easily with a weight-compensation spring system, or hydraulically (optional equipment).

The headstock on GA 4431, 4731 and 5031mounted models and the drawbar with parallelogram on GA 4731T and GA 5031T trailed models provide the rotor with a windrow clearance height of more than 40 cm, for maximum user comfort.

The new single rotor GAs are highly manoeuvrable and very easy to adjust in terms of raking height, producing forage that is always clean. Output is of high quality, even on narrow or uneven plots, or on steep slopes, because of the turning angle of the headstock with tandem axle and two side dampers, as standard on mounted models, ensuring excellent machine re-centring.

Exclusive! With its 4.00 m diameter rotor, the GA 5031 is the biggest mounted single-rotor machine on the market.
