At LogiMAT 2015, which is being held in Stuttgart February 10 till 12, 2015, intralogistics supplier Kardex Remstar is presenting its range of solutions for picking individual items quickly and flexibly in hall 1, stand H 51. The focus is on a new box storage system which enables extremely fast retrieval times. Further focal points at the trade fair include intelligently networked applications for optimizing internal workflows.

The increasing individualization of products is leading to greater product variants, modified order structures, and shorter delivery times in the trade and production sectors. This is bringing about new demands in relation to internal material flow. Kardex Remstar has developed a new storage and retrieval solution with which smaller volumes of parts can be handled more quickly and flexibly.

Compared to common storage solutions and mini-load systems, the new bin storage system offers extremely fast retrieval times and is also highly flexible. Even small orders and/or orders with a number of order lines can be processed more quickly, reducing stock levels and cutting costs. The simple modular design of the unit guarantees scalability.

Together with the Kardex Mlog division, also part of the Kardex Group, Kardex Remstar will be showcasing other applications related to the subject of handling individual items. The modular approach of the intralogistics supplier is also evident here. All applications such as goods intake and depalletizing (Mlog), storage and retrieval of individual items, and buffering, consolidation, and packaging (Remstar) are intelligently networked with each other. Kardex Remstar is committed to offering customers in the trade and production sectors simple intralogistics solutions for increasingly more complex tasks.
