In addition to the Double U-Profile roller, AMAZONE now, with the U-Profile roller, offers another following roller for its range of passive soil tillage equipment. Designed specifically for mounted implements, the U-Profile roller represents a lighter version in comparison with the Double U-Profile roller. With a diameter of 580 mm and a ring spacing of 16.6 cm, the roller works under a wide variety of operational conditions.

The open U-Profile, with its large contact surface area, ensures a very good carrying ability of the roller. In conjunction with the modular design, which provides a very good soil through passage, the U-Profile roller shows its strength especially on very light land. As the soil flows so well through the roller the levelling effect is additionally improved and makes it very easy to pull. During operation the open U-Profiles are filled with soil resulting in an extremely low material wear. Spring-loaded clearers between the rings keep the roller open and provide additional levelling.

The U-Profile roller is introduced for the Cenius and Catros mounted machines where it fully shows off its advantages due to the lower weight.

As an option, the U-Profile roller can also be equipped with a following harrow.
