Once stolen, always stolen...

Dorset Police recently recovered two Ifor Williams trailers on suspicion of theft. 

An examination by one of their experts revealed the correct serial numbers of the two trailers - and a subsequent call to TER revealed that both had been stolen!

The trailer pictured above, a 10-foot GD105G model, was stolen from a construction company in Portsmouth last year and the second, a HB505R horse trailer, was stolen from Kent 10 years earlier and had been missing ever since!

Dorset Police are now working with Hampshire Police and Kent Police whilst the trailers have been returned to their rightful owners.

Trailers remain highly sought after by the criminal fraternity and are often sold into the used market within hours of being stolen.
