The quality of its products has always been Pilosio’s priority throughout its history but now the company has undertaken a step change since, as the company’s CEO Dario Roustayan explains, “simply being suppliers is no longer enough. The product range has been extended and improved to meet any type of construction requirement: the company's headquarters delivers scaffolding and formwork for raised walls, roofs and ground retention systems, equipment intended both for the retail and hire markets. Not just that: Pilosio specialises in the design, construction and sale of structures for the entertainment business such as stages, platforms, grandstands and audio and video towers, and its scaffolding has never been in greater demand, even in the oil&gas industry. All production is done in-house with a perfect combination of traditional Italian manufacturing excellence, an assurance of the greatest possible attention to detail, and the automation of the production processes with high-technology, capable of certifying the “history” of each individual item and meeting the highest safety standards.

The stand was designed to emphasise the features of the materials manufactured by Pilosio and the design capabilities of its engineering department.  It was purposely designed and constructed only with standard Pilosio materials, using the MP multidirectional scaffolding, usually used on constructions sites, as a material capable of creating architecture with captivating aesthetics.  The pavilion’s perimeter follows a rectangular plan of 35 x 40 metres to a height of 12.5 metres enclosing two main interior spaces: an open air display area and one under cover for hospitality, including a technical area, offices and a space reserved for tasting wonderful “Made in Italy” food and wine.  The construction modules of Pilosio’s MP system that make up the building form a geometrically coherent whole, rigid yet at the same time adaptable thanks to use of PVC fly sheets in a zigzag arrangement. The overlapping fly sheets anchored to the Pilosio multidirectional structures create a double architectural effect: the perception from outside the exhibition area of a dynamic structure and the clear identification of the access and exit points through the highly visible metal portals.

Scaffolding design software

This is a fast and intuitive software programme that works on an Autocad or Brics Cad basis to design scaffolding or complex structures (such as support structures, stairs, overhangs etc.) with the MP multidirectional system or Pilosio’s scaffolding framework. Its advantages lie in the possibility of creating 3D designs; simple diagrams with predefined solutions; the automatic extraction of the specifications; 2 outputs, one linear and a second in detailed 3D for realistic graphic rendering: an automated procedure for the design layout; the automatic importing of the geometry and elements for structural verifications with FEM software.

Piloso Silwa Software for warehouse management of Pilosio equipment

This is an easy to use software programme that combines in a single system the management of all the operational and logistical flows. The programme enables the complete management of the logistical movements inside one or more warehouses, monitoring the flows from order to storage, from withdrawal to delivery, in order to oversee the equipment in various construction sites at the same time.  The system works with Wi-Fi device and with optical identification technologies (bar code or RFID). Its advantages lie in the optimisation of the spaces: greater productivity of personnel; continuous monitoring of the various construction sites.

Virtual training

Pilosio’s Virtual Training is an interactive software programme for exploring within a fully developed three-dimensional environment the construction phase of an industrial building with Pilosio products. Through a user-friendly interface with extremely captivating graphics, the virtual training allows the user to interact and find out how the company’s products can provide solutions at the different construction phases, demonstrating their functions, advantages and technical specifications.  Pilosio’s Virtual Training thereby becomes a highly developed tool with which to show the qualities of Pilosio's solutions, and to fully understand how they are used in practice.

Pilosio has a complete range of formwork for casting walls complete with safety systems and accessories in order to construct any structure:

• Magnum Plus heavy formwork with durability of more than 50% with hot deep galvanized and powder coating (Triplex System) and an 18 mm thick panel of 12 layers of birch with a 1.6 mm special plastic coating on both sides;
