Port logistics becomes even more sustainable and efficient with SANY

From June 13 to 15, 2023, Rotterdam will once again be the meeting place for all logistics, port, and cargo supply chain professionals. TOC Europe offers the industry a platform to exchange ideas on technology and solutions, trends and innovations. SANY Europe will also be present, and already with its own spacious stand, it will demonstrate great openness and global performance strength, especially in the field of electrification.

At SANY, we mean this in two senses. On the one hand, we welcome visitors to Rotterdam to our new and particularly airy SANY trade fair stand. On the other hand, on 70 square meters of exhibition space, we will be showing how port logistics can be made even more economical, efficient, and sustainable with innovative ideas. In the spotlight for the first time: the new electric reach stacker SRSC45E5

Sustainability is one of the key topics at this year’s TOC. It is therefore no coincidence that SANY’s new all-electric SRSC45E5 reach stacker will be the focus of attention at the trade fair. It combines maximum efficiency and low consumption, thus ensuring significant cost savings in continuous operation. The new machine also scores in terms of operating times: with its dual charging plug, it is quickly charged and ready for operation again. This is where the practical experience with more than 400 reach stackers and empty container handlers in worldwide operation pays off for the users.

SANY Europe is a company of SANY Heavy Industry, from Changsha. This is one of the three largest manufacturers of construction machinery worldwide, with a turnover - of the whole SANY Group - around 16,7 billion euros in 2022. The company, founded in 1989, offers a wide range of products, with more than 26 product families and over 300 machine models. These are developed, produced and sold by 55.000 employees around the world.

SANY's European site is in Bedburg, near Cologne, since 2011. The site employs around 130 staff in Sales, Service and in adapting products for the European market. In 2021, SANY Europe sold more than 3000 excavators on the continent. With the help of more than 100 dealers, the turnover across the whole of Europe was around €150 million in the same year.

SANY Europe's portfolio focuses predominantly on excavators, port-machinery and road-machinery. The SANY site, measuring approximately 14 hectares, provides space for a production hall and warehouse. Proprietary painting facilities, as well as an administration building and the SANY Hotel are also located on the premises.

The internationally recognised brand Putzmeister, based in Aichtal near Stuttgart is also a company of SANY Heavy Industry.
