PROFILE PLUS Mixer-straw blower with VENTIDRIVE COMPACTNESS and VERSATILITY rolled into one!

New PROFILE PLUS models join the KUHN range of mixer-feeders.

Following the launch of PROFILE mixers with transversal conveyor, in 2010, and direct delivery versions in 2012, 2015 is the year of the new « PROFILE PLUS ».

This new range of mixers with straw blowing turbine uses the two-vertical-auger mixing concept for the best high capacity/low height ratio.

PROFILE PLUS, a new PATENTED straw blowing system

FOR LONG-DISTANCE STRAW BLOWING:

• The straw blowing system at the front of the machine uses the same large 1540 mm diameter turbine as the KUHN range of straw blowers and feeders. Bedding can be delivered over a distance of up to 18 m to the right.

FOR LONGIVITY AND SIMPLICITY:

• The straw blowing turbine is driven by the same POLYDRIVE technology as all KUHN long-stem straw blowers and feeders i.e. hydraulic belt shut-off. This system combines powerful mechanical drive with operating flexibility.

FOR WORK OUTPUT:

• Straw flow from the tank to the turbine is controlled by the patented VENTIDRIVE system. VENTIDRIVE comprises an asymmetric straw output door which optimizes straw flow to the turbine and neutralizes backflow phenomena.

Straw blowing rates can reach 130 Kg of straw a minute!

PROFILE PLUS, machines to suit all buildings:

• 16, 18 and 20 m3 volumes available for herds of 65 to 150 dairy cows.

• Compact: overall machine height from 2.83 m for the 16 m3 and an outer width at the wheels of 1.85 m. These dimensions are possible due to the position of the wheels under the body.

• All forage types cut and mixed (silage, hay, straw, wrapped grass…) in any bale format: round, square… For fibrous rations, all models in the range are equipped with an anti-overflow rim as standard.

PROFILE PLUS, a wide variety of delivery accessories.

• Very wide discharge doors (1100 mm) mean that the ration can be delivered rapidly, irrespective of fiber content.

• Delivery by symmetrical discharge chute at the front right and/or front left.

• As an option, two rear chutes can be added to the machine for delivery in 2.70 m wide shed passageways.

• The PROFILE PLUS range can also be equipped with a tilting conveyor, for farms with troughs.
