The PURO H 3000 sees Pöttinger make a strong entry into precision planter technology. Ingenious features such as the DUAL DISC coulters and adaptable residue clearing tools make this a versatile machine. The heart of the PURO H 3000 is the metering unit. To achieve the optimum seed placement depth, as well as the best longitudinal and lateral seed distribution, the machine is equipped with a sturdy toolbar and reliable coulter units. A special composite in the synthetic casing makes the metering unit strong and resistant to torsion in all ambient conditions, ensuring reliable operation and an extended service life.

Practical and easy to operate

The settings are easily accessible and can be adjusted without the need for tools. The metering unit has a two-part design that makes it easy to use. The cover can be removed without tools, making it quick to change the seed plate and easy to carry out maintenance work. The 68-litre seed hopper is made of synthetic material and is equipped with a shut-off plate underneath to allow the seed plates to be changed even when the hopper is full. Up to 900,000 maize seeds fit into the generously sized seed hopper, enabling the PURO to achieve an extremely high output when planting in six rows.

Large drive wheels ensure reliable traction and smooth operation, even in difficult soil conditions. For deployment with a fertiliser hopper (1,300 litres), the machine features spring-mounted fertiliser coulters, each equipped with a double-disc coulter. The position of each band of fertiliser can be set individually, independently of the seed row.

The PURO H 3000 has a working width of 4.5 m (transport width 3 m). It has six planter units, and the coulter pressure is 180 kg. With its row spacing of 75 cm, the machine is ideal for sunflower seeds, maize and sorghum.

Expertise from San Vito

Since taking over MaterMacc in 2022, Pöttinger has successfully developed its San Vito (Italy) location into a centre of excellence for precision planter technology. The new PURO brings together MaterMacc's many years of experience with Pöttinger's agricultural engineering expertise and high quality standards. The agricultural technology specialist from Grieskirchen (Upper Austria) presented the PURO H 3000, which delivers precision, reliability, high output and maximum ease of use, to the public for the first time in Hanover, at Agritechnica 2025.
