Quality of work and high capacity with the BC 1000 range

In addition to the RM shredders for crop residues well-known to large crop farms and contractors, KUHN has developed the BC 1000 range with no less than 5 models available: BC 2800, BC 3200, BC 4000, BC 4500 and a reversible model BCR 2800 with working widths of 2.80m to 4.50m.

With their capacity and quality of work, the shredders of the BC 1000 range are ideally cut for large farms, machinery cooperatives or contractors.

Impeccable quality shredding of voluminous residues will easily be achieved by the models of this range owing to the counter knives and the variety of tools adapted to the various types of residues: heavy hammer knives or universal knives with stubble pallets for good suction of residues pinned to the ground. 

KUHN’s BC 1000 series gives farmers the opportunity to work at high speed in the largest volumes of crop residues or set-aside land with a large diameter rotor (647 mm on models up to 3.20 m and 730 mm beyond).

These machines designed for adaption to high power tractors up to 350 hp, feature a robust casing design and attachment as well as a specially adapted gearbox. The double drive on each side (except on 2.80 m model) ensures good tractor-rotor power transmission.

Road travel between the farm and the fields is easy and safe with the hydraulic lengthways transport system on the BC 4000 and BC 4500 models.

The recent DLG Nr 6316 test report attests to the quality of work, comfort of use and ease of handling provided by this new range of « Field » shredders.
