Quicker on the market: New engines for the SILOKING SelfLine comply with emission standard stage IIIB

Foresighted planning pays off: In the power range from 56 to 130 kW, the transition period for placing on the market any mobile machines applying emission standard stage IIIA ex-pires at the end of September, 2014.

SILOKING customers with small or medium-sized SILOKING SelfLine models from 12 to 20 m³ are affected by this regulation, too.
“We have reacted at an early stage by developing the SILOKING SelfLine SCR with Common Rail engines and SCR technology,” Ulrich Hufnagel, Responsible for Product Management, said.

Besides complying with the next emission standard stage, the new self-propelled feed mixer offers the farmers further advantages: The new engine complying with emission standard stage IIIB provides the 4-cylinder engines with an increase in power from 94 kW (128 HP) before to 110 kW (150 HP) now.

In addition, the machine offers comfortable control of the engine speed via the joystick and a digital dis-play showing information on the engine load, fuel consumption, AdBlue reserve and much more.

The design of the self-propelled range has undergone several changes, too: on the right side of the vehicle there are new covers that can be opened, making daily maintenance very comfortable for the farmer.
The machines can be delivered from the first quarter 2014.
