The new Rammax 1575 CI is the pivot-steered counterpart to the proven, skid-steered Rammax 1585 trench roller. It underscores Ammann‘s position as a specialist for trench rollers and rounds off the world‘s most comprehensive programme offering both steering concepts.
The 1575 is equipped with a powerful water-cooled Yanmar 3-cylinder engine and leaves nothing to be desired with regard to compaction output and extreme climbing and advancing rates. The lowest centre of gravity available on the market and a unique articulated pendulum joint make the Rammax 1575 hard to beat when it comes to operator convenience and the best tilt stability on difficult terrain. The skid-steered Rammax 1585 is powered by a tried and tested Hatz diesel engine and still has the highest compaction output of any trench roller in the world.
They are always ready for use thanks to the unique solar-powered remote control unit available for the two Rammax models 1575 and 1585. The proven infra-red technology has seen significant improvements and continues to offer the highest safety standard for the operator and the surrounding site – this control concept in particular guarantees the necessary visual contact between operator and machine.
