ReachMaster receive 2 AHL awards

We are proud to announce that ReachMaster has won the 2016 AHL award in the following two categories: “Access Project of the Year – Aerial Work Platformswith the delivery of a Falcon FS95 at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. and the award for “Best New Product of the Year – Self-Propelled AWPs over 20-feet of Platform Heightwith the Falcon FS170T, the tallest compact lift in the world.

Falcon FS95

ReachMaster was asked to recommend a solution to provide safe maintenance access to the glass canopy, which sits at 75-95ft. height, at the newly remodeled Donald Reynolds Art Museum formally the Old Patent Office Building at the Smithsonian Institute.

The ReachMaster Falcon FS95 is the only lift in the world that can access a single doorway while reaching heights from 95’ – 138’, and therefore making it the perfect solution for reaching great heights in compact locations.

A few words from the judges about the Best Access Project of the Year – Aerial Work Platforms:

It was an enormous challenge to get the platform into this jobsite, and if ReachMaster hadn’t managed it, the alternative solution of scaffolding would have been extremely costly and time consuming. This is truly innovative when you compare it to the ‘old way’ of doing things, and highlights the positive impact that aerials can have.”

Falcon FS170T

The ReachMaster Falcon FS170T is the tallest compact lift in the world, and made its debut in North America in May 2016. It has an impressive 170’ working height yet is a mere 4’ wide (standard double door access) and a weight of less than 30,000 lbs., putting it in a class of its own.

The judges said:

“Compact lifts are changing the way work is done. This is a 170-foot boom that can fit between double doors, offering a powerful combination of height and reach on a small base. The engineering is outstanding, and the potential impact on the market is huge.”1

We are very proud of our high quality and innovative products, and greatly appreciate the acknowledgement we have received.
