Under the slogan of “CONNECT”, Jungheinrich will be showcasing a wide range of warehousing software and IT hardware, along with innovations in industrial truck, warehouse and material flow technology - at the LogiMAT exhibition in Stuttgart, from March 8th to 10th, where the company is appearing in hall 7 at stand 7D21. Apart from unveiling the new WMS Series 2, Jungheinrich is highlighting its new WMT 110/115 Radio Data Terminal at this year's show. Featuring a narrow, compact design, this high protection class device has been especially designed for deployment in forklift and logistics applications in tough industrial environments. The terminal's high shock and vibration resistance as well as its dust and spray water protection have earned it the IP65 protection class.

Designed for paperless order processing, the WMT 110/115 enables efficient data sharing with the Warehouse Management System (WMS), featuring real time response and thus providing warehouse and control centre employees access to the latest warehouse status. The terminal also offers numerous standardised interfaces as well as special software for the myriad requirements of industrial applications. The Radio Data Terminal is ideal to operate, thanks to its brightly lit, easily readable 10.4 or 15.1 inch display which comes with capacitive or resistive touch technology and four freely configurable, duplicate assignment front keys. The fanless design features maintenance-free, shock-resistant components and a standard cold storage capacity down to -30°C so that the terminal can be reliably operated in any environment. Three integrated antennas guarantee an ideal Wi-Fi connection. The optional write-protected Windows Embedded operating system prevents software manipulation and loss of data. All of the external USB interfaces (one in front and three in the service shaft) are high-current USB (1A). In contrast to normal USB interfaces this enables the reliable, failsafe operation of peripheral devices like bar code scanners with a performance rating above 450 mA. The easy-to-access front USB also guarantees perfect access in support cases.

The integrated standard mounting interface on the rear side of the terminal facilitates easy mounting using standardised holder solutions, for example mounting brackets. This makes it easy to mount the terminal on any industrial truck at a later date.

Technology made in Germany - 100%

Developed and produced entirely in Germany, the Jungheinrich Radio Data Terminal can be seamlessly integrated into the entire Jungheinrich product portfolio. To ensure for instance the ideal use of the Jungheinrich warehouse navigation system, the terminal communicates with the vehicle using the Jungheinrich Logistics Interface.

The user thus gets not only the hardware, but the planning as well. Jungheinrich is a one-stop shop for commissioning and supporting its complete solution. “Jungheinrich has more than 20 years of experience with wireless data terminals on industrial trucks and in the field of logistics. The WMT 110/115 represents a terminal-type solution which is geared to the latest logistics requirements, providing the user with a high level of investment security and availability thanks to our support services,” emphasises Andreas Langwieser, Project Manager Technical Sales for Radio Data Terminals at Jungheinrich Logistiksysteme GmbH.
