Riwal expands in Europe

Riwal, the aerial work platform and telehandler rental specialist, has expanded in Europe by opening new depots in Belgium, Denmark and Sweden.

Antwerp, Belgium

Antwerp is the second largest city in Belgium and home to one of the largest ports in Europe. Opening the new depot in Antwerp is in line with Riwal’s expansion strategy and will allow it to service its Belgian customers in an even more effective manner. This depot will mainly focus on the Northwestern area of Belgium and the regions surrounding the Antwerp harbor. From its new location, Riwal can provide access solutions to customers on upcoming projects in the area such as the continually expanding chemical and refinery complexes and port terminals.

Esbjerg, Denmark

Esbjerg is the 5th largest city in Denmark, situated at the far west of Denmark. Having depots in the four largest cities already, Esbjerg was the logical choice to open a new depot. Along with extending its operational reach for existing customers, the new Esbjerg depot also offers Riwal an opportunity to bring working at height solutions to new customers in the area. The depot opening supports both geographical and segment diversification as it is positioned to provide service to companies specialized in off shore oil drilling and in assembling wind-energy parks and allows Riwal to expand its market leading position.

Gothenburg, Sweden

With already one depot in Malmö, Riwal has now opened its second depot in Sweden, located in Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden. Gothenburg is growing rapidly, reflected by the developments in infrastructure with the construction of several tunnels and bridges, and also in the establishment of apartments and a new hospital. Riwal will be able to better service existing customers and also reach out to new customers throughout the entire west coast from Malmö to Gothenburg.
