RM-Terex Leadership and Senior Officials from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Local Government, and Tver Region Ministry of Industry and IT Meet at TVEX, CJSC

Senior officials from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tver Region Ministry of Industry and IT, and local Government visited TVEX manufacturing facility of RM-Terex – part of Russian Machines Corporation managing the machine building assets of Basic Element Group of Companies – as part of their efforts to evaluate the social and economic situation at strategically important factories and develop the anti-crisis government support measures. 

During the meeting, the company presented its new manufacturing complex and reconstruction works under way which are to end in Q1 2015. The facility is able to produce up to 1100 units annually (1 shift operations).

The new and upcoming products from TVEX, CJSC were introduced to the meeting participants – crawler and wheel excavators and backhoe-loaders. The facility lineup also includes tower crane sections, material handlers, and forklifts.

Based on the discussion results, a series of measures will be developed to support Russian manufacturers of construction and road-building equipment.
