RM-Terex Youth Project Wins the Production System Contest

Paint Booth Process Stabilization project by TVEX manufacturing facility of RM-Terex – part of Russian Machines Corporation managing the machine building assets of Basic Element Group of Companies – received the best youth project award in the Production System Contest within the Basic Element Group perimeter. 

Paint Booth Process Stabilization project received the best youth project award in the Production System Contest within the Basic Element Group perimeter. The project implementation resulted in better paint finish quality, lower production costs and higher output. A team of young workers implemented a host of technical and process innovations initiating the switch from 6th to 4th grade coatings and introduction of two-component paints, achieved 35% increase in the painting line output with 40% cost reduction for coatings and paints, and minimized product returns for reworks and wait time at the assembly line.
