RUTHMANN enjoys success “Down Under”

RUTHMANN is continuously expanding its global dealer and service network with increasing success.  With *NIFTY-LIFT, the Australian aerial work platform manufacturer, RUTHMANN has found the ideal Sales & Service partner in Australia. The collaborative efforts “Down Under” have spawned STEIGER ® success stories for both companies.

In order to optimally introduce RUTHMANN products to potential customers across Australia, NIFTY-LIFT organizes roadshows on a regular basis. Together with RUTHMANN, STEIGER ® products are showcased at regional fairs all over the country. The “HIRE 15” trade show, for example, was a huge success from start to finish. This event – organized by the Hire and Rental Industry Association – was held in Adelaide from April 28th – April 30th, 2015.  Interesting customer discussions were held, lucrative contracts initiated, and many new contacts were established.

In the first months of the partnership –established by the two companies in early 2013 – it was primarily RUTHMANN's famous HEIGHT performance-STEIGER ® that appealed to and subsequently conquered the Australian truck-mounted aerial work platform market.

In order to satisfy the growing demand, RUTHMANN and NIFT-LIFT have now introduced an additional top model to customers in Australia. The STEIGER ® TB 270 – mounted on a 4.5 t Iveco Daily all-wheel chassis – is an all-rounder intended also for customer groups outside the equipment rental industry. Builders/contractors, for example, will find the TB 270 extremely appealing. The TB 270 is the first and only truck-mounted work platform in Australia with a whopping 27 m working height that can be operated by anyone holding a valid passenger car driver’s licence (for vehicles up to 4.5 t GVW).

The initial reaction to the TB 270 has been overwhelmingly positive. On a recent roadshow through Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, the TB 270 fully captivated customers and prospective buyers alike. NIFTY-LIFT has received numerous inquiries and requests. Further orders are expected over the next several weeks.

RUTHMANN’s HEIGHT performance-STEIGER ® on assignment in Australia

Whether for telecommunications, filming, or inner-city maintenance and repair work, models in RUTHMANN's HEIGHT performance-STEIGER ® series are the aerial work platforms of choice. This STEIGER ® version is perfect for assignments in difficult terrain thanks to the optional horizontal/vertical support mechanism. With the T 330 HV 12 STEIGER ®, RUTHMANN maximizes efficiency at the job site with outriggers extended just 50 cm on both sides of the vehicle. Assignments can therefore be carried out in the most cramped conditions AND in rugged terrain without any degree of difficulty.

Furthermore, because the outriggers are extended horizontally, the work platform can be positioned BESIDE the ruts left by the tires.
