RUTHMANN remains firmly on course

2014 marked another successful year for RUTHMANN.  With over 500 units sold, total sales for the RUTHMANN Group amounted to a staggering 109 million EUROS – a new record.  Sales of STEIGER® aerial work platforms increased steadily in 2014 as the positive overall trend of the past several years continues to accelerate.

General Manager Rolf Kulawik, commented on the results:

“We are very proud of the progress we have made. In addition to our T series (T 285, T 300, and T 330), the positive sales figures can also be attributed to the STEIGER TB 220, TB 270, and especially the TBR 220 models. The TU 285 and entire HEIGHT performance-series – enhanced in 2014 with the STEIGER® T 400 – have also helped move us forward. Many orders came from our core market (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) but export sales also reached a new high. The new T 190 and T 230 models and diverse VERSALIFT® products accounted for an increase in orders from municipalities.

RUTHMANN Service remains another driving force behind our success, adding 13.5 million EUROS to our bottom line in 2014.

In 2015, RUTHMANN anticipates further growth in all areas. As part of its ongoing innovation campaign, customers and prospects can expect to see new and exciting developments in the months ahead.

RUTHMANN is using the INTERMAT 2015 trade show in Paris, France (from April 20-25) to showcase its newest innovations. The STEIGER ® T 480, for example, is scheduled to make its world debut at this prominent event. This new model has unparalleled reach capacity above the 20 m working height level. The custom made STEIGER® T 480 on display at INTERMAT, is mounted onto a Volvo FMX all-wheel drive, 3-axle chassis.

General Sales Manager, Uwe Strotmann said, “With the new STEIGER® T 480 in the HEIGHT performance-series, customers have market-leading reach capabilities at their disposal. The many new orders reaffirm that we are on the right track. We look forward to the world premieres at INTERMAT 2015. Other highlights include the new TB 270+ in the 3.5 t category. With the most comprehensive service range in the industry, we will continue to offer customers sustainability and quality that they deserve.”

Administrative Director, Uwe Stapper added, “In 2015, RUTHMANN will further invest in its After-Sales Service activities across Germany. The investment programme currently underway will be further enhanced by several million EUROS.   Several projects, such as the LED light conversion as part of the ECOPROFIT initiative, have already been launched. RUTHMANN will continue to make improvements that benefit our business partners and employees alike.”
